Today, we joyfully celebrate 118 remarkable years of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, founded on the campus of Howard University through the brilliance, courage, and unwavering vision of nine extraordinary women.
Since 1908, our commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, and service to all mankind has shaped generations of leaders, educators, innovators, and change agents. Our legacy is not just history. It is a living, breathing charge that continues to guide our work, our leadership, and our service.
