2004 AABCS “CRUISE THEMED” Short-Story Contest

In celebration of the 5th Annual AABCS, we are holding our first Short Story contest. This contest is open to all participating Self-published and/or Author Showcase Participants. (Featured Authors are not eligible.)

Any genre of short story manuscript may be entered, however, the major theme of the story must be "CRUISE" related. The names and stories of the First-through Fifth place winners will be printed in the official AABCS Souvenir Booklet.

The Rules

The competition is open to manuscripts of 2,000 words or less. Entries outside the word limitation will be disregarded. Type the word count on the first page of your entry along with your name, address, phone number and email address.

1. All entries must be in English, original, unpublished, and not submitted elsewhere until the winners are announced.
2. Only digital submissions will be accepted. (MS Word, Word Perfect, etc.)
3. Entries must be received by September 1, 2004.
4. Winners will be announced at the 5th annual AABCS.
5. Winners' names and stories will appear in the 5th Annual AABCS Official Souvenir Booklet - Anniversary Edition. Winner’s names and story titles will be posted at www.summitatsea.com.
